Shimano Curado 300/301 K

The new Curado 300 K is the new version of the well known Curado 300 I. The new features include Micromodule Gear system and the Stable Spool design, providing a more efficient gear train with a smoother, more positive feel. The combination of CI4+ body and the aluminum frame makes the Curado 300 K very tough but still light weight. The SVS infinity braking system controls spool speed for precision casting, making it also possible to cast lighter lures while fishing for bass. This reel is designed to fit the needs of freshwater predator fisherman, but is also able to withstand the tough salt water conditions due to the 4 Shielded A-RB + 2 Shielded Stainless Steel ball bearings.

The Curado 300 K will be available in 3 gear ratios: 6,2:1, 7,4:1 and an very high ratio of 8,5:1 for both the left and high handed models. The 6,2:1 provides the most power and is the best choice when fishing big lures with a lot of water resistance. The 7,4;1 gives a good balance between speed and power. The 8,5:1 is the model which is all about speed (91 cm line retrieve per handle rotation), which his the best choice for fishing where fast response is a pre: techniques with softbaits, jerkbaits and topwater lures. The Curado is a true allrounder who is also not afraid to cast bigger lure with more weight and fight big fish. Because of the 300 size, it will fit perfectly for pike fishing and lures as jerkbaits, swimbaits, spinnerbaits, softbaits.
